It is with sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our sister, Verna, of Woss, BC. She died peacefully with her family by her side, while staying in her favourite spot, Qualicum Beach.
Verna is predeceased by her husband Ray and they spent 30 wonderful years together in Port Alberni.
Verna was always involved and cared about all her family and friends. She loved cooking, gardening, playing bingo, knitting, bowling, sitting beside the ocean and was very involved with the Somas Legion Branch 169 as the Social Planner.
She will be deeply missed by her son, Brent (Sonja), sisters: Sandra (Rocky Dog), Debra (Don), Lenora (John), nieces and nephews: Dale (Elisa), Lara, Jody, Michael (Gwen), Darrell (Candice), Daniel, aunts, uncles, cousins, great nieces and nephews and many friends.
