It is with great sadness that we announce Vicky Lee McKillop passed away on February 14th, 2023 while away in Mexico.
She leaves behind her husband, Doug McKillop, daughter Kim Collinge (Sheldon), son Lon Collinge (Tara), stepdaughter Tasha Sutton (Glynn), stepson Jeff McKillop (Debbie), father Russell Fairweather (Debbie), brother Craig Fairweather, sister Rebecca Fairweather, and her grandchildren, Quinn, Ryden, Kiara, Tyce, Julia, Nick, Blair, Brendan (Brianne), Derek, Shyla (Jamie), and great-grandsons Dalyn and Kellan.
In addition to the family named above, there are many family members and friends who were very significant in her life through the years.
She was predeceased by her mother, Phyllis Fairweather, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins that she was close to.
Vicky was born, raised and lived her life in Port Alberni. It is indisputable that she had a beautiful heart and would do what she could to help anyone in need. She was generous, kind and loved those around her unconditionally.
Vicky had a love for music and if a good song was playing, you would most likely find her dancing!
May her beautiful soul rest easy now
and find the peace she so deserves.
