Passed away at the age of 77 on January 15, 2019 in Port Alberni, BC. Born in Macklin, Saskatchewan, Bill came to Port Alberni in 1964 and met his wife Sharon.
Predeceased by his parents, William and Elisabeth and his brother Ron. Survived by his loving wife Sharon; children Brent (Eriko) and Sherri (Sean); grandchildren Brooke, Breanne, Kaitlyn, Kai and Nao; siblings Judy, Katherine (Lorne), Leroy (Joan) as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Bill worked for many years as an advertising manager at AV Times, previous to that he had worked at Robbie's Menswear. Bill enjoyed riding horses and motorcycles. He was a handyman, and showed his love for his family and their friends by always making sure all their vehicles were in perfect running order. He was an amazing grandfather to his grandchildren and left them with many good memories.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Diabetes Canada https://www.diabetes.ca or to a charity of one's choice can be made in Bill's memory. There will be no service at the request of the family.
