Lady Rose is the least of our woes, writer says

To the Editor,

Re: Lady leaves, ferry remains, Letters, March 4.

I disagree with T. Lyman Jardin, who says the old BC Ferries vessel is a “rusting piece of junk” and should be removed.

I think it is the least of the eyesores in this city of ours where the first and worst thing one sees on entering is the disgraceful car graveyard, instantly followed by the barrage of advertising on those hideous billboards.

No, let the BC Ferry remain; rust cannot be seen unless one is up close. She poses there, looking picturesque and quite dignified, as if she is awaiting passengers.
