To the Editor,
I am not aware of any other leading business person in this Valley who could do a better job of holding the mayor’s seat than Kevin Wright.
I don’t know him personally, but I have watched him on the public stage as he ran before, and I have watched him in his business ventures in the Alberni Valley and have been so impressed with his performance. As a former business owner, once of a British spa for many years and again as a motel owner and operator in Tofino, and successful author of many books, I know what it takes to build and run a business. It’s not for the faint-hearted.
Kevin has a personal touch and a strong public courage that will be put to perfect use as mayor of this town, which so desperately needs a leader with vision.
If you look at what Kevin Wright is accomplishing with promoting the arts here and his visionary and daring plans and his powers of persuasion, you will see that there is no one else around at all who can fill the shoes so badly needed here.
