To the Editor,

If I’d been an undecided voter before Premier Christy Clark’s recent public interaction with #IAmLinda, the premier’s momentary unwittingly honest display of her true character would’ve surely sealed my vote against her B.C Liberal Party in the upcoming election.

The premier, who is reapplying to taxpayers for her job, had the opportunity there to show she cares for all citizens of BC rather than just her own supporters.

Instead of taking the opportunity to demonstrate a tad of that humility, Premier let-‘em-eat-cake Clark gave #IAmLinda the stink-eye and hurriedly stalked off.

As Maya Angelou wisely said: “When someone shows you who they really are, believe them the first time.”

So thanks to Madam Premier for helping voters decide by showing us her true stripes. For now I truly believe it’s time for a change.

Liz Stonard,
