It is disturbing that the Alberni Valley News is now publishing political diatribes from conservatives in Alberta. And of course, the implication is that anyone who voted Liberal is an ignorant fool.
I could easily rebut all of Mr. Gosse's talking points, but I will leave that tiresome task to the battleground of social media. As it stands, it is clear that the people of Canada voted for the Liberal Party in a free and fair election. Like it or not, responsible citizens accept the results and move on with their lives.
By all means, let's make an effort to improve our society, but political rants, name calling, and gaslighting are neither constructive nor respectful.
