To the editor,

Our mills are declining. They say it’s because of a shortage of logs. How can that be when truck after truck drives through our streets every day, every one overflowing with logs, in an affront to our senses. What can we do about it?

Something has to be done. Sitting on your hands is not going to put mill workers back to work. So, how do we stop the logs, that represent a better livelihood for our children, from going out of town in load after load after load?

Call me at 250-724-5027 with your ideas to stop the decline of our town and I will stand with you.

Seva Dhaliwal,

Port Alberni
