LETTER: The NHL has no business being in Olympic men’s hockey

To the Editor,

Re: Question of the Week for Feb. 14, Alberni Valley News

You asked if people would still tune into Olympic men’s hockey games now that the team does not include National Hockey League stars. I would still be watching.

The NHL has no business being in the Olympics at all.

Our Canadian athletes are doing this for next to nothing; it should cost an NHL player a million dollars to participate in the Olympics, and the NHL itself $10 million.

Port Alberni
