Re: Think before you vote, Letters, April 6.
In the April 6 edition, letter writer Chris Forbes referred to forest tenure appurtenance provisions, that tied logging rights to local value added activity requirements, being removed by the NDP in the 1990s. He is right about the damage caused by this change, but to give discredit where discredit is due, appurtenance provisions were removed by Gordon Campbell’s Liberals in 2003.
