To the Editor,
I would like to extend my congratulations to the staff and lifeguards at Echo Pool, especially Barb Wilkins.
I was in the men’s change room last Monday when one of the patrons collapsed. I had never realized how much training the lifeguards had until now. I was really impressed with the professional way Barb handled the situation.
She came into the change room and took charge; she knew all the right things to do until the ambulance arrived. Hopefully the man will be OK.
Way to go, Barb. It is comforting to know that when we visit Echo pool we are in good hands.
