Please tell us the real price

Advertised prices of goods is below real cost and enough is enough, reader says.

To the Editor,

It is time to have more accuracy in pricing.

Airlines and cruise lines are examples: Their advertised prices are often far below the actual cost. We feel that advertised prices should be the actual prices.

With the HST decision imminent this would be a perfect time to include all purchase costs in a given price. This already works well for gasoline and alcohol.

It is irritating to have to pay more than the advertised price each time. We need accuracy in pricing!
