Defending champion Mary Ann Hayward of Aurora, Ont. had a three-round 10-over-par 226 to win the tourney at Whitevale Golf Club in Whitevale, Ont.

Little, the 2008 and 2009 Royale Cup Canadian Women’s Senior Champion, finished with runner-up honours this year. She shot a final round 2-over par (74) today.

Little, 53, who won her second B.C. Senior Women’s Championship earlier this season in Cranbrook, concluded the championship at 13-over par (229).

Rounding out the top-three was Terrill Samuel of Etobicoke, Ont., finishing the championship at 15-over par (231).
