Bulldogs captain Mitch Makin has committed to the NCAA Division 1 program of the Western Michigan Broncos.

Bulldogs captain Mitch Makin has committed to the NCAA Division 1 program of the Western Michigan Broncos.

Makin spent the last three seasons as a Bulldog after being acquired by Kevin Willison from his former team the Olds Grizzlys.

Makin, who was named captain for the 2014/15 season, ended up playing for the Bulldogs in 141 regular season games, contributing 42 goals and 58 assists for a total of 100 points.

Moreover, Makin helped lead the Bulldogs to 28 playoff game appearances over his last three seasons.
