Brothers win junior club championships at Alberni Golf Club

Spencer and Carson Rhodes won low gross and low net titles, while Elizabeth Hill won the girls title.

Two brothers have claimed the 2012 junior boys club champion titles at Alberni Golf Club.

Spencer Rhodes won the overall low gross with a couple of very good rounds on Sunday and Monday. His younger brother Carson won the overall low net in a thrilling three-person playoff with Eric Gill and Brayden Ward. Carson Rhodes shot a birdie on the first playoff hole to win.

Elizabeth Hill was our girls champion.

The 2012 Junior Program lessons and tourney section have come to an end for the year as school starts. “We are extremely proud of our 2012 junior boys and girls  this year and look forward to 2013,” said organizer and associate club pro Brian Rands.
