Cyclocross is coming to Port Alberni.
The venerable Farmer Bill’s will be the location of Cross On The Rock.
The event is on Sunday, Oct. 14 at the Farmer Bill’s property on Highway 4.
The event will have a mix of dirt road, farmers fields, technical single track events, farmers equipment obstacles and cows.
The event’s website describes Cross on the Rock as a grass roots, laid back, fun, social, surprising competitive Cyclocross series on Vancouver Island.
The event started in 2003 as an underground race in Nanaimo’s Beban Park.
