The West Coast Dragon Boat Society presents its annual Ladies Regatta this Sunday, June 12 at Sproat Lake Provincial Park.
The host society will have two teams in the regatta this year: Die Hard Dragons and Sproat Ness Dragons. The regatta usually draws more than a dozen teams from around Vancouver Island.
Warmups are at 9:15 a.m. and racing starts at 9:30 a.m. Spectators are welcome to watch and join in the camaraderie from the beach. A concession stand will be available.
