Dragon boaters compete at Sproat Lake

Races brought 400 participants from around the island

Close to 400 women participated in the West Coast Dragon Boat Society’s ladies regatta on Sproat Lake on Sunday, June 11.

18 teams came from around the island to compete in the races.

This is the fourteenth year that the regatta has been held, according to Gail Horvath, president of the West Coast Dragon Boat Society.
