Golf season begins in Valley

New promotions available for the upcoming golf season

The 2017 golf season has arrived and there are some new promotions for the upcoming season.

The Alberni Valley Golf Club appreciates the members taken out and the commitment they have in making the club one of the best on Vancouver Island.

Every 2016 member who renews their membership for the coming year will receive the following special bonuses; five driving range tokens, a free group golf lesson and two eighteen-hole guest passes for prospective members. Guests must be residents of the Alberni Valley.

Another promotion is “sponsor a new member.” If a current member sponsors a new member both will receive a 20 per cent discount on 2017 dues. Both people must take part in a nine-hole new members tournament scheduled for April 22.

The above bonuses are available for the 2017 golf season only from April 1, 2017 to March 31, 2018. New member must pay their dues in full by April 1.
