Sunday Men's Golf saw an excellent turnout for the Schill Insurance Waltz on May 4, with 60 players competing. Congratulations go out to Jason Dwolinsky, for scoring his first hole-in-one. It happened on No. 2 while playing on Friday, May 2.

The way I heard it, he hit a soft 7 iron, the ball never bounced at all but dove straight into the hole. Good for you, Jason!

The low gross winner for the Waltz was the team of Kole Poulsen, Jess Black, Justin Sketsch and Colton Buffie with 138 points. Next was the team of Blake Freshette, Andre Savard, Mike Savard and Murry Hawkeness compiling 141 points.

On the net side of the day with 130 points was the team of Peter Mugleston, James Weenig, Bob Aston and Kyle Luchinski. Next with 131 was the team of Chad Wutke, Jason Dwolinsky, Sam Parhar and Brooks Lehtonen, followed by Cody Breuker, Darcy Haggard, James Haggard and Mike Doucette with 131. Rounding out the net side with a combined 134 was the team of Craig Acland, Bob Matlock, Terry Ellwood and Keith Ellwood.

In the skins competition, there were five winners out of 38 participants: Chase Shiner on No. 5, Cody Breuker on No. 7, Kash Nicklin on No. 8, Kyle Luchinski on No.10 and Peter Mugleston on No.13.

The closest to the pin winners are Adam Taylor on No. 2, Fred Fredrickson on No. 4, Cody Breuker on No. 13 and Darren Bellas on No. 17. The Charity Closest to the pin on No. 7 was Bob Matlock who took home $90.

There was only one deuce pot winner this week: Peter Mugleston takes home $105 for the only birdie on No.13 (all the rest were halved).

COMING UP: We are trying to have some different events and add some variety while still playing your own ball. There will be two sponsors that day, Chef Ron and Creekers Liquor Store. On May 25 we have planned army golf: pick your partner hole by hole in your foursome (two play together if they both hit it left and the other two on the right). More details to follow.
