More golf honours for Alberni’s Proteau

Alberni's Christina Proteau has been named the Women’s Mid-Amateur Player of the Year for 2013 by the Pacific Northwest Golf Association

Port Alberni golfer Christina Proteau has been named the Women’s Mid-Amateur Player of the Year for 2013 by the Pacific Northwest Golf Association. This is Proteau’s second consecutive award.

Proteau’s year included repeating as champion of the Canadian Women’s Mid-Amateur. She also won the B.C. Women’s Mid-Amateur, a tournament in which she finished second last season.

She qualified for the U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur and Pacific Northwest Women’s Amateur.
