Pitch n' Putt: Big Break skills happening

In the nine hole low handicap division Sharon Hillman won the low gross, Pennie Churchill took both low net and the lowest putts of the day

We had a beautiful day on the Alberni Golf Course.

In the nine hole low handicap division Sharon Hillman won the low gross, Pennie Churchill took both low net and the lowest putts of the day.

In the high handicap division Lee Anne Van Lent took the low gross , Betty Adair won the low net , there was a three way tie for lowest putts between Joan Hall, Bea Stuyt, and Betty Adair.

Pars were had by Sharon Hillman on No. 11 and No. 18,  Betty Adair had a par on No. 17. Adair also had a chip in on No. 17 and Pennie Churchill had a chip in on No. 15.

Five of the nine hole ladies participated in the Mt. Brenton interclub.

The Monthly Medal was won by Barb Sheare shooting a 68 net.

Jackie Little won the low gross with 78.  Low net went to Barb Sheare with 68.  In the KP challenge, Sharon Haggard won on No. 3 and Jackie Little won on hole No. 12.

The Challenge Pin was held by Carol Hastings, Shirley Goodman challenged her , Hastings held the pin.  Marilyn McPherson will challenge Hastings next week.

We will be having a nine and 18 hole players scramble on June 17, sign up with a guest , the guest pays $ 20 for nine holes and coffee and muffins will served afterwards.

If you have a guest to sign up let Patsy know so she can put them in the draw, she would like to know by June 10.

If you haven’t entered yet in the Ladies West Coast get an entry form in, it sure sounds like it will be fun.

It has a Big Break format.  Big Break skills will be on the Saturday night from 6-8 p.m.
