Port Alberni Midget Bulldogs win Division 1 banner

The Van Isle Ford/Bowerman Contracting Midget Bulldogs have won a Division 1 Island League Banner.

The Alberni Valley Minor Hockey Association’s Van Isle Ford/Bowerman Contracting Midget Bulldogs have won the Vancouver Island Amateur Hockey Association’s Division 1 Island League Banner.

In the Island League, the Midget Bulldogs played 12 games, winning eight, losing three, and tying one to place first amongst six other teams. The Midget Bulldogs are now in playoffs against other Tier 3 Midget teams on the Island.

The Island’s winning Tier 3 Midget team will go on to play in the BC Hockey Provincial Championships in Terrace, B.C. from March 19-22.
