André Savard carded a 74 to top the best gross side of the Sunday Men's Golf Best Gross and Low Net event on Sunday, May 11, 2025. Josh Harvey wasn't far behind with a 77 in second place.
There were 39 players for this event, including Ken Porteous from sponsor King Edward Liquor Store.
Chad Wutke topped Flight B on the gross side with a 78, followed by Terry Rai with 80. In Flight C, Darren Bellas carded an 88 and Darren Van Dyk a 91.
Terry Ellwood and Murry Haukeness were in a battle for low net in Flight A. When the retrogression dust settled, Ellwood topped the flight with a 70.
Greg Eyeford had the best low net score in Flight B with a 67, followed by Bruce MacDonald at 71. In Flight C, Darrell Van Os had a 70 followed by Dave Mann with 73.
There were three equally divided flights of 13 in this event: Flight A: 0-10; Flight B: 11-17; and Flight C: 18 and above.

Closest to the pin honours for this week went to Chris Bird on No. 2, Greg Eyeford on No. 4, Bruce MacDonald on No. 13 and Darren Bellas on No. 17.
Darren Van Dyk won the Charity Closest to the pin on No. 7. Bruce MacDonald won the money pot with the only deuce on hole No. 13.
