Fifty-one men teed it up for the partner with a pro event held at the Alberni Golf Course on Sunday, April 13.
In flight A the gross winners were Andre Savard with a score of 143, Wayne Cheveldave 148 and Thomas McChesney 149. On the net side of flight A was Blake Frechette 141 in first place followed by Matt Mesic 143 and James Haggard 144. In Flight B all net winners were Peter Mugleston 136, Chris Owen 138, Terry Argotow 139, Chad Wutke 141, Bryce Dabb 145 and Chris Bird 145. In Flight C, Jayson Pley scored 135, Bob Matlock 139, Ron Scholte 142, Mike Doucette 142, Fred Fredrickson 150, and Glen Trask 150.
The closest to the pins were recorded by Ron Scholte on No. 2, Mike Doucette on No. 4, Blake Frechette on No. 13 and no one on No. 17. The charity closest to the pin on No. 7 went to James Haggard who collects $76.50. Cory Nielsen won $42 for the only birdie on No. 2, the rest were carried over.
In the skins competition there were three winners out of 27 who signed up: Thomas McChesney on No. 3; Wayne Cheveldave on No. 7; and Blake Frechette on No. 8.
All ties are settled by retrogression. All prizes may be picked up from the pro shop any time after noon on Tuesday. This competition was sponsored by The Flooring Depot.
COMING UP: On Sunday, April 27 the Sunday Men's Club will hold a two-man Stableford event, sponsored by Alberni Toyota.
Please register in the pro shop with your partner; the committee will make up the foursomes. It will be a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. You will need two lines for your two gross scores plus one line for your net Stableford points.
