The 2015 Tim Hortons Ladies Bonspiel was held at the Alberni Valley Curling Club this past weekend with Port Alberni’s Lorraine Jeffries Rink competing in the “A” Event Final against the Michelle Stewart Rink from Qualicum.

The final was a close and back and forth game with the Stewart rink getting an early lead and the Jeffries rink coming back to tie several times. Jeffries tallied three at the fourth end to tie and again with two in the eighth end to tie the game at 7–7 and force an extra end.

Stewart finally prevailed with the hammer in an exciting  extra end for a final score of 10–7 .

The winner of the “B” Event was the Noble Rink from Parksville, with the “C” Event going to the Zbinden Rink from Qualicum Beach.

The Consolation Event was won by the Twanow Rink of Port Alberni/Gibsons.
