Thunder rolls in Alberni ladies hoops

Dave Ralla’s Blue Thunder team is still undefeated in the Port Alberni Ladies Basketball League.

Action continued in the league on Tuesday night.

In the first game, Ralla’s Yellow Lightening  squared off against the Mace Electric Shockers.

The teams were evenly matched  but the Lightning went on a run in the second half and won the game 59-39.

The second game of the night pitted the Mace Electric Phoenixes against Ralla’s Blue Thunder.

It was a tight game throughout, but the Thunder hung on to beat the Phoenixes 48-42.

If you or someone you know are interested in playing, drop by ADSS Gym Tuesday night at 6:30.  It costs $4 to drop in for a game.
