It was week two of action in the Port Alberni Ladies Basketball League.

In the first game,  Dave Ralla’s Ballerz took on Mace Electric Shockers.

Mace took an early lead and did not lose it all night.

Although the Ballerz kept it close, they could never make up those first few baskets, and eventually lost 39-34.

Paige Hansen had 13 points for the Shockers.  Diane Haley had 13 points for the Ballerz.

In the second game of the evening, Canadian Tire Retreads took an early lead against Lace It Up and were up 15 – 13 at halftime.

Lace It Up fought back however, and with a late 11-0 run, they were able to beat Canadian Tire 34 – 28.

Denae Edgar led Lace It Up with 14 points.
