The Alberni Junior Curling program is looking for new members. No experience is required.
“We have a fantastic group of volunteer coaches who teach to various levels,” spokesperson Cara De St. Remy said.
This year’s crop of youth curlers ranges in age from nine to 14 years, but the program is designed for curlers up to 18 years, she explained.
“Come and learn techniques and strategies - and of course, develop a love of the game.”
Sessions run weekly from 3:30–4:30 p.m. every Wednesday. the program resumed on Jan. 4, and will wrap up with a final session on March 8.
