Two Alberni District Secondary School wrestlers travelled to the high-calibre Miri Piri Invitational in Abbotsford last weekend. The tournament featured some of the top wrestlers from the Lower Mainland and throughout B.C.

After winning two of three last weekend at the Cowichan Junior Invitational the ADSS junior boys’ basketball team experienced better competition and some unique matchups, resulting in a 1-2 record at the Mark Isfeld Invitational in Comox. They beat Carihi Tyees 50–35.
