The Central Saanich Police Service and the Central Saanich Fire Department responded to a vehicle that was engulfed in flames on the Patricia Bay Highway, just north of the intersection with Island View Road.
As of 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 27, a Black Press reporter on the scene observed the vehicle completely engulfed in flames. The fire has since been put out.
Traffic moving northbound is affected and reduced to a single lane.
