The Alberni District Fall Fair had a record year for its 75th anniversary.
Fair administrator Ann Siddall said a total of 26,500 people were recorded attending the event over four days (Sept. 8-11).
Deborah Kruks was the winner of the $30,000 draw. She buys a ticket every year and bought the winning one on Thursday evening.
Clint Jackson was the lucky winner of the Kinsmen’s $5,000 draw.
