Many came by for the two-day Giant Book Sale at the Alberni Athletic Hall. The annual event is a major fundraiser for the Community Arts Council, and there were books in every category imaginable.
Volunteers kept busy refilling the tables as bookworms loaded their arms and carried out baskets filled with tomes.
