Alberni Elementary music teacher Megan Reddick organized two weeks of Latin music

Fiesta at Alberni Elementary

Two weeks of Latin dancing and music at Alberni Elementary.

Alberni Elementary helped their students get into the fiesta spirit with two weeks of Latin dancing in October.

Organized by music teacher Megan Reddick, the two weeks featured two guest dancers.

“We [had] a guest singer and dancer from Brazil who’s coming and a guest salsas dance teacher,” said Reddick.

The students will also be looking at Latin rhythms and beats with “borrowed percussion intruments from different schools in the valley [for]some percussion exploration centres.”
