Port Alberni Family Guidance Association is turning 45 this year, and they’re celebrating with a party.
Country Night Dinner and Dance, featuring local band Cat Sass, takes place Saturday, March 28 at the Bavarian Centre (above Little Bavaria) at 3035 Fourth Ave.
Many community sponsors have stepped up to provide live and silent auction items to help raise funds for the association.
Prizes include a handcrafted table using wood from McLean Mill, a barbecue from Canadian Tire, pizza parties from Boston Pizza and an all-inclusive trip to Mexico.
Tickets are $25 each and available at INEO Employment Services (4908 Argyle St.), PA Family Guidance (3039 Fourth Ave.) and online at pafgacountrynight.bpt.me. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., buffet dinner starts at 7 p.m. and dancing begins at 8:30 p.m.
