Maquinna Elementary students collect food for Salvation Army

Kids loaded annual food drive items into cube van after successful campaign

Students, staff and supporters from Maquinna Elementary School made a large donation to the Salvation Army recently.

Students from Grades 4–7 collected more than 500 food items during their annual food drive, vice-principal Julie Dawson said. Students were able to help pack the Salvation Army’s truck, showing them what that many items looks like.
