McHappy Day makes smiles in Port Alberni

Event raised record-breaking $8.9 million across Canada

First responders and volunteers in Port Alberni paid a visit to the McDonald’s location on Johnston Road to show their support for McHappy Day last week.

McHappy Day is an annual event where a portion of proceeds from all McDonald’s menu items will go towards Ronald McDonald House Charities and other children’s charities.

This year’s event, which was held on May 8, 2024, raised a record-breaking $8.9 million across Canada.
