Port Alberni didn’t break a world record this weekend, but 349 community members and guests still came together for the third annual Jane Austen Festival.

The crowd gathered at Alberni District Secondary School on Saturday, July 7 to be counted. This was followed by a promenade on Centennial Pier on Port Alberni’s waterfront.
