Alberni Valley residents armed themselves with sleds and shovels

Alberni Valley residents woke up on Tuesday, Feb. 12 to a sheet of snow and the news that schools across the Island were closed for the day.

Some people stepped outside armed with shovels; others carried sleds. See what the rest of the Valley got up to during Tuesday’s snow day.
