Portal Players seek one-act directors

Portal Players Dramatic Society wants to present needs directors for one act plays in July at the Capitol Theatre.

Fancy yourself a director?

Portal Players Dramatic Society wants to present a group of one act plays in July at the Capitol Theatre this summer and  are looking for directors to take on the project.

The project is an ideal opportunity for those who haven’t directed  before. Interested directors should submit any questions and applications to Derek Burke derekjburke@gmail.com by Feb. 29.

Directors will be responsible for casting their shows and for recruiting any help they need such as stage manager, techies, crew, etc.

Assistance is available for new directors.

Funds for all productions will be provided, once approved, by the society.

The society hopes that at least one play will go on to compete in the Qualicum One Act Play Festival in early November.
