For one night in Port Alberni, soul singer-songwriter Zaynab Wilson is nesting at Char’s Landing with her songs and stories of wandering.
Wilson will take the stage for her debut performance at Char’s Landing on Friday, Sept. 22. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the concert starts at 7:30 p.m.
Wilson is a gifted multi-instrumentalist who, across the past six years, has been answering the call to sing the songs and stories of her journeys, which has helped her to find her voice, courage and some creatively nourishing time in Australia.
With three singles released while in Australia since early 2020, Wilson is travelling into Port Alberni to share two albums’ worth of unrecorded material that has been well received for its authentic live performance and capturing of the natural landscapes along the way.
