Art Matters Society presents a One Billion Rising Event starting at 1 p.m. at Char’s Landing.
Rise for Justice—dance, release and rise up for an hour at Char’s, and honour the missing and murdered women of Canada.
At 7 p.m., join host Wendy Kerr for In Praise of Women, an evening of entertainment at the Italian Canadian Centre on Sixth Avenue. Tickets are $15 each or 10 for $100 and available at the Rollin Art Centre.
