Gordon Blake has been re-appointed to the Port Alberni Port Authority to a term of three years.
As a resident of Port Alberni for more than 60 years, Blake has contributed to the community in a variety of capacities and interests. Throughout his previous term on the board he was said to have brought “a pragmatic, business-based approach to the consideration of the wide variety of issues facing the organization,” the port authority noted in a press release.
Blake and his wife Angie can be found most Saturday mornings at the Harbour Quay Farmer’s Market, where they have a table.
