Bulldogs sign new defenceman

Cameron Kuhl, from Clifton Park, NY, joins the Alberni Valley Bulldogs.

The Alberni Valley Bulldogs have singed a new defenceman for the 2016-17 season.Cameron Kuhl, from Clifton Park, NY, spent the last two seasons in the United States Premier Junior Hockey League for the P.A.L Junior Islanders.

Kuhl, six-foot-two, scored seven points—one goal and six assists—in 82 games.

To make room for the defenceman on the roster, The Bulldogs have released forward Justin Lee who is expected to join the North Vancouver Wolfpack junior B.

According to an Oct. 3 press release from the Alberni Valley Bulldogs Hockey Club, the ‘dogs would like to thank Lee for his efforts and welcome Kuhl and his family to the Bulldogs organization.

Tho Bulldogs play tonight, Friday, Oct. 7, against the Powell River Kings at 7 p.m. in the Weyerhaeuser Arena and again at home ice on Saturday, Oct. 8 against the Chilliwack Chiefs at 7 p.m.
