Port Alberni RCMP responded to a two vehicle crash on Roger Street at Sixth Avenue on Thursday, June 22 at 12:40 p.m.
A silver Lincoln Continental and a brown Buick Century collided in the intersection. The collision caused heavy damage to the driver’s side door of the Buick and the Port Alberni Fire Department assisted in getting the driver out safely. Both drivers were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The collision is still under investigation. Anyone who may have witnessed the crash is asked to contact Cst. Gallimore of the Port Alberni RCMP at 250-723-2424.
