Canadian Navigable Waters Act - Toquaht Nation

The Toquaht Nation hereby gives notice that an application has been made to the Minister of Transport, pursuant to the Canadian Navigable Waters Act for approval of the works described herein and its site and plans.

Pursuant to paragraph 7(2) of the said Act, Toquaht Nations has deposited with the Minister of Transport, on the on-line Navigable Waters Registry (http://cps.canada.ca/) under Registry numbers 9261, 9760, 9761, and 9762 under the NPP File Numbers 2023-511073, 2024-511591, 2024-511592 and 2024-511593, a description of the following works, the sites and plans:

· Scientific Equipment

in, on, over, under, through or across Toquaht Bay, approximately at 48° 59’ 17.32” N, 125° 21’ 36.22” W, located on unsurveyed Crown foreshore or land covered by water being part of the bed of Loudoun Channel, Barclay District, Ucluelet, in the Province of British Columbia.

Comments will be considered only if they are in writing (electronic means preferable) and are received not later than 30 days after the publication of the last notice. Although all comments conforming to the above will be considered, no individual response will be sent.
