City of Port Alberni - Leasing Opportunity

The City of Port Alberni is excited to invite proposals from individuals who may be interested in leasing one or more of the commercial units located at the picturesque Alberni Harbour Quay [5440 Argyle St]. While unit space is minimal, the Quay is a hub of activity and may be a perfect opportunity to launch your business.

Calling all entrepreneurs! The City of Port Alberni is excited to invite proposals from individuals who may be interested in leasing one or more of the commercial units located at the picturesque Alberni Harbour Quay [5440 Argyle St]. While unit space is minimal, the Quay is a hub of activity and may be a perfect opportunity to launch your business.

2023 lease rates are as follows:

Year-round units:

• Unit 9 – 232 sq. ft. [$355.97/month plus GST]

Tenants are required to maintain hours of operation and be open to the public generally as follows:

i. Seven [7] days/week and 9 hours minimum per day during the months of May, June, July, August & September; and

ii. Five [5] days/week and 6.5 hours minimum per day during the months of October, November, December, January, February, March and April.

Seasonal units (Available May 1 – October 31):

• Unit 13 – 193 sq. ft. [307.87/month plus GST]

• Unit 16 – 180 sq. ft. [$287.10/month plus GST]

Tenants are required to maintain hours of operation and be open to the public generally from May 1 through October 31 as follows:

i. Seven [7] days per week and 9 hours minimum per day during the months of May, June, July, and August; and

ii. Four [4] days per week and 6.5 hours minimum per day during the months of September and October.

Proposals will be evaluated on the basis that they complement other businesses and services currently provided at the Quay.

Proposals will be accepted until May 31, 2023 at 4:00 pm. Please submit your detailed proposal either by mail or email to the attention of:
