NOTICE FOR PUBLIC COMMENT
The Capitol Theatre has applied to the Liquor and Cannabis Regulation Branch (LCRB) for a Structural Change (Capacity Increase) to amend the existing Liquor Primary License for the establishment located at 4904 Argyle Street, Port Alberni. The applicant proposes to extend the establishment’s licensed area to include the auditorium seats (additional 193 m2) resulting in a total capacity of 234 persons for all licensed areas. The LCRB is seeking a resolution from City Council. The City is seeking comments from the public regarding noise, hours of operation, or any other concerns that may impact nearby owners or occupants of property.
Hours of Liquor Service:
Monday – Sunday (6:30 pm – 12:00 am)
Service is restricted to live events only, beginning one hour prior to the event and ceasing one hour after the end of the event.
