passed away in Victoria on Thursday October 1, 2015 at the age of 85.

Predeceased by brother Norman and sister Rose; Beverley is survived by her loving husband Melvin; children, Shannon (Steve), Debra (Paul), John (Deb), and Lisa (Scott);grandchildren, Michael, Nathan (Marla), and Dana (Alex); great-grandchildren, Samantha, Brittney, and Lennon; as well as nieces, nephews and extended family.

Bev came to the Alberni Valley at a young age in the late 40s. She worked seasonally at Woodward’s candy counter and Marjorie’s Clothing. Bev was known for having a wonderful singing voice. She sang at some of the local theatre productions, most notably as Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz and even at her own wedding when she sang “Can’t Help Loving that Man”. One of Bev’s joys was travel.

She travelled to Spain and England, as well as 17 trips to Hawaii and later on to Yuma, Arizona.

Prayers will be held 7:00pm, Friday, October 16, 2015 from the Chapel of Memories Funeral Directors with a MemorialMass at 11:00am on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church with Father Stephen Paine officiating.
