Chesley Alan Pitts

Ches passed away surrounded by loving family on Wednesday, March 4, 2020.
Predeceased by step father Britt. Survived by loving wife Linda; children Gary (Julianna), Darcy (Alysha) and Chelsea (Evan); brother Brent (Shelley) and their family Melissa (Jonathan), Amanda (Mike) and Ryan (Ashlin); mother Evelyn; father Alan (Pat); sister Janet; step sisters Tracy (Roger) and Cheryl (Robert); Uncle Alan & Auntie Margaret, as well as many other extended family and friends.
Born and raised in Port Alberni, Ches worked for Cermaq as a fish hatchery technician as well as Community Color Centre and Acklands in customer service. When not working, Ches loved his hockey. He played with McDermott's (Barclay Hounds), The Old Puckers and the Koszegi team. He loved holidays in warm places and spending time on the dock at Sproat Lake, with his family and dog.
A Celebration of Ches' life will be held from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Saturday, March 14 at the Alberni Valley Golf Course, 6449 Cherry Creek Road, Port Alberni. There will be an opportunity for an open mic at 2:00pm.
